Hall of Honor Scholarships
Financial Base for Scholarships
The Hall of Honor is funded through private sources. Donations have been received from class reunion committees, individuals, community organizations, businesses and industries. The Hall of honor currently awards 10 named scholarships annually. The scholarships are:

The Hester Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding minority student.

The Meyer Scholarship-This scholarship will be awarded to the outstanding student who demonstrates a willingness to overcome obstacles.

The Jurgens Scholarship-This scholarship focuses on the outstanding candidates’ active voluntarism.

The Kneipp Family Scholarship-This scholarship was established in 2014 by Stanley (’60) and DiAnne Kneipp of Houston and his sister, Sharyn Kneipp (’62) of St. Louis. This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student with an intent to major in nursing or a related health care field.

The Groenenboom Scholarship– Established in 2018 by the Jim Groenenboom family, this scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student planning to major in accounting or teaching in a high school business department.

Fisher At-Large Scholarship–This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student on an at-large basis.

The Vieth Family Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student who intends to pursue a liberal arts college education.

The Iglehart Family Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student who intends to pursue a career in teaching.

The Fran Shawver Family Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student who intends to pursue education towards certification in the trades.

The Shawver Family Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student who intends to pursue a career in music.
