History
During a Central High School parent meeting in the early 1980's, a suggestion was made to establish a Hall of Honor, which would recognize distinguished graduates of Davenport High School and Central High School. A contribution by the Class of 1963 led to the creation of the Hall of Honor in 1989, under the leadership of Central High School Principal Donald D. Fisher. The original committees were graduates of Davenport High School and Central High School and school district administrators. The first honorees were inducted in 1989.
