National Honor Society
What is National Honor Society (also known as NHS)?
We are a national organization that recognizes outstanding high school students. There are chapters in all 50 states as well as Canada and U.S. territories. Recognition is based on the four pillars: character, scholarship, leadership and service. Not only do we highlight what students have accomplished, but we challenge them to be active members in their school and community.
What does NHS do?
Various service projects for our school and community. We work together in large groups, small groups and individually. Some of our project categories include: working with local/school food pantries, animal shelters, environmental clean ups, youth mentoring, and larger events such as Dance Marathon and Village in Bloom.
